X-Tag™ for Extreme Temperature, Extreme Duration!!X-Tag™ is an extreme temperature, extreme time, metal tag designed for the most demanding applications, such as forging industry. X-Tag™, special purpose metal tag from InfoSight Corporation who has invented the high temperature InfoTag® Laser Marked Metal Tags. Today these metal tags became standard for direct attachmentto red hot steel at 1800°F (1000°C). Other special purpose tags invented by InfoSight are KettleTag™ + for hot dip galvanizing in molten zinc and Pic-Anneal® to survive acid pickling and higher temperature annealing.
X-Tag™ is produced from stainless steel substrate with a special laser markable coating that can withstand long-term exposure to high temperatures. Tests at 1600ºF (865ºC) for more than 100 hours have been extremely successful. X-Tag™is the only tag of its kind in the identification label industry.
X-Tag™ is available in a wide range of sizes, as either a single tag (blank-and-single) or in a long roll (nick-and-notched) for easy break-off. Tags can be printed on-demand in any of the InfoSight laser printers. High visibility text, 1D and 2D barcodes, crisp graphics, and logos are all at your fingertips. X-Tag™ is supplied in 3″ x 3″ (76mm x 76mm) and custom sizes are also available.
