It has got a special heat resistant &chemical coating to resist ablative bead and shot blasting. These properties make ShotTag™ is the ideal barcode tracking tag for identifying fabricated steel right from welding through shot blasting process. ShotTag™ is easy-to-use and robust method for identification when start-to-finish traceability is very important.
ShotTag™ can be attached to the fabricated steel parts before Shot Blasting via wire fasteners utilizing a pre-punched hole or slot in the tag. Start “Error-Proofing” your process today……
ShotTag™ can be laser marked through InfoSight’s range of Tag Printers, LabeLase®1000, or LL2800 Series, or JM410 for high quality 1D & 2D barcodes, High Contrast Text, Company Logos and Bitmap Images. It meets AIM specifications and Metal Substrate for durability and rough handling. ShotTag™ is Weather-resistant and it’s Metal Substrate Temperature Range is -22°F to 1400°F (-30°C to 760°C) and maximum rated laminate survival is 250°F / 120°C.ShotTag™ survives Zinc Chloride (ZnCl), Hydrochloric Acid (HCl), Sulfuric Acid (H2SO4) and Ammonium Chloride (NH4Cl).
ShotTag™ is supplied in 3″ x 3″ (76mm x 76mm) and custom sizes are also available.
