ToughTag™ Identification Tags for Industrial Equipment!!ToughTag™ is an ideal low cost barcode tracking tag for identifying industrial equipment such as valves and racks, located in harsh environments indoors or outdoors. Barcode and man readable details are imaged on the specially coated ToughTag™ with InfoSight CO2 laser markers such as JM 410 or LabeLase®1000 or LabeLase®2800 series printers.
ToughTag™ metal tags comes in two substrates, Stainless Steel or Aluminum. The Stainless steel ToughTag™ is .008” (.20 mm) thick 430 Grade stainless and the Aluminum ToughTag™ is .010” (.24 mm) thick 5172 Grade aluminum. These durable barcode tags will survive indefinitely at temperatures up to 1500 F (800 C) and intermittently to 1800 F (1000 C). ToughTag™ is resistant to a wide range of chemicals and solvents, including acids, resists fading under sunlight and UV exposure, and is moderately abrasion resistant.
ToughTag™ is coated with a specially developed laser markable coating and supplied in continuous rolls 3” (76mm) wide and up to 300 feet (91 Meters) long. The rolls have already been nick-notched to the exact tag length required from 1” to 24” long, for automatic feeding through the printer. It can also be supplied in die-cut form in virtually any custom size desired. A wide range of standard and custom holes and slots are available for attaching ToughTag™ to equipment.
