The InfoSight Laser InfoMark® printer utilizes two of InfoSight’s proven technologies to create a revolutionary marking application. Using an ink spray nozzle to lay down a patch of white and then marking it with a high power CO2 laser, the InfoMark® printer provides the ability to put a bar code, logo, and man-readable characters directly on hot or ambient products without a tag.

InfoSight’s Model 2951 FlagTag™ Metal Tag Marker and Applicator uses a moving, focused CO2 laser beam to darken the pre-coated (white) tag surface to produce high definition black characters, bar codes or even logos.  The text and barcode data is downloaded from the host computer or entered from an operator terminal.  The resultant tag is then automatically sheared and MIG welded to slabs, billets or blooms.

InfoSight’s Info-Tagger™ Automatic Slab Tagging System uses a high powered industrial CO2 laser to blacken the tag’s white surface allowing the reliable non-contact printing of large man-readable numbers, high quality bar codes, and logos.  MIG welding technology, which has been automated in the automotive and steel industries for years, attaches the tag to 1800°F (1000°C) slabs.   The result is large man-readable numbers, high quality bar codes, and logos that survives the high temperatures of newly cast steel slabs.

The LabeLase® Marking System offers a practical and cost-effective alternative to manually stenciling products in an industrial environment. This system utilizes two of InfoSight’s proven technologies to create a revolutionary marking solution. Using an ink spray nozzle to lay down a patch of white and then marking it with a high power CO2 laser, the LabeLase® system provides the ability to put a bar code, logo and man-readable characters directly on hot or ambient products without using a tag or label.

The I-Dent® Marking System utilizes a non-contact multi-nozzle Printhead which is capable of producing a full range of uppercase alphanumeric characters 3/4 to 6 inches high.  System configurations are available to produce OCR (optical character recognition) characters and InfoSight Opticode® barcodes, allowing products to be marked for machine-readable automatic identification.
